Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express, I was pleasantly surprised by the culinary offerings. The cozy Express Café & Bar provided a perfect haven after long days of cycling and exploring. I indulged in the comforting Dutch continental breakfast, featuring thick, hearty pea soup—certainly a satisfying starter for my adventures. The hotel's location is convenient, just a 10-15 minute stroll from the central railway station and downtown. During my early check-in, the friendly reception staff assisted in planning the day’s activities, ensuring everything went smoothly. With numerous eateries nearby, I couldn't resist venturing out to the bustling Jordaan district for a taste of local smart bistros. Afterward, returning to my canal-view room was a pleasure. Whether you’re seeking history or culinary delights, this hotel balances both beautifully—a perfect base for those wanting to delve into Poland's rich heritage while enjoying the local gastronomy.
